Effective from the 11th of January 2008, MMSPL became members of the Transport & Dock Workers Union, Mumbai Port Trust, by successfully taking over the business & absorbing the 28 union workers of an existing transportation company. |

Consequently MMSPL are now registered with Mumbai Port Trust as the authorized transport contractors for IAL Container Line, Bay Line, Mac-Nels Shipping Line, Beta Lines, Penanshin Shipping Line & Able Shipping. |

In December 2007, MMSPL commenced operations of transportation of export containers, which are ground stuffed at Mumbai, to Nhava Sheva at a cost effective cycle tariff rate, giving exporters flexibility in operations. |
